Job Title: Cloud Support Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Cloud Support Engineer to join our non-profit organization as a volunteer. As a Cloud Support Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and functionality of our clients’ websites through your expertise in cloud technologies. Your contribution as a volunteer will make a positive impact on our community and help us achieve our mission to support and empower our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain web servers using cloud technologies, specifically AWS.
• Perform regular security audits on our clients’ websites to identify vulnerabilities.
• Develop and implement security measures to ensure website integrity and prevent cyber-attacks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise with web servers or websites.
• Work collaboratively with other volunteers and staff members to ensure seamless delivery of services to our clients.

Requirements:

• Experience with cloud technologies, specifically AWS, including EC2, S3, and RDS
• Strong understanding of web servers and web applications
• Attention to detail and ability to identify potential security vulnerabilities.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Passion for giving back to the community through volunteer work.

We kindly ask that the Cloud Support Engineer dedicate a minimum of 2 hours per week to this position to ensure consistency in our services and support for our clients.
